Corbett Village Eco-Tour is an endeavor of Corbett Gram Vikas Samiti (CGVS) to promote community based tourism in famous hunter turned conservationist Jim Corbett’s Village-Chhoti Haldwani. Corbett Gram Vikas Samiti is a fledging not for profit organization, registered in the year 2004 under Societies Registration Act 1860. CGVS is a group of nature and conservation enthusiasts actively working on wildlife conservation in the area.
CGVS has three main areas of operation viz :
- 1. Community Based Eco-Tourism.
- 2. Conservation of Wildlife.
- 3. Creation of Livelihood Opportunities for the Rural Community.

One of the most important aspects of our community based tourism initiative is conservation of flora and fauna of this area. We organize awareness campaigns, plantation drives and nature workshops for maintaining bio-diversity.
